Open items in eBay App rather than Safari with Shop Now

If you have the eBay app installed and you have opened it and logged in, BayWatch should open the eBay app on iOS 9 and later when you tap Shop Now.

If you find it opens the Safari Browser instead, please follow the instructions below to enable this functionality.

1. Delete and re-install the eBay app.
2. Open the eBay app and log in.
3. Try the Shop Now button in BayWatch again.
4. If needed, you can use the link above again to force the app to open.

 

If the above does not work, please do the following.

1. Open the eBay app and log in.
2. Tap and hold the following link and select ‘Open in “eBay”‘ http://rover.ebay.com/rover/. This should open the link in the eBay app.
3. Try Shop Now in BayWatch again.

 

The issues with links are system wide, and are not BayWatch App or eBay App related. However, the above should resolve the issues and allow you to launch the eBay app directly from BayWatch.
